The series was released monthly over the course of 2018, with each episode featuring a dish that’s roughly tied to that month’s events. The show involves characters from the original Fate series (Fate / Stay Night), but throws aside all the drama about fighting over the holy grail, and instead presents a very relaxed show about cooking.

But you don’t really need to know anything about any of the Fate shows to watch it. Today’s Menu is set in the Fate universe, which usually involves mages making contracts with history’s greatest heroes to fight over the holy grail.
